This is the first entry in a series of articles I will publish covering global developments of heightened importance to the outlook of the War in Ukraine. This article will assess potential repercussions arising from Israel's war with Hamas, with particular focus on global polarization and the role of potential Ukrainian reactions.

In each edition I will publish a new article surrounding Russia’s transition towards nuclear power in geopolitically contested regions around the world, focusing on a particular country for each article. For this article, Russia’s improved relationship with Egypt shall be analysed, and the progression of the relationship which was undertaken in 2017.
